Seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead a new production facility! The Plant Manager will spearhead the site utilizing Tetra Pak equipment, develop a management team, and drive process improvement. What you'll do as a Plant Manager:
Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety, to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the facility.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team
Improve machinery performance and develop robust employee training programs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve product quality.
Collaborate closely with all levels of the organization to execute long-term strategic goals, including plant expansion in the coming year.
Take ownership of operational challenges, including optimizing labor and addressing workforce shortages in a competitive market.
What you need to be a Plant Manager:
Minimum of 10 years of management experience, preferably within the dairy, aseptic, or high-speed automated filling industries.
Experience with Tetra Pak equipment is highly beneficial, but not required.
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement processes.
TPM- related certifications or training is desirable
In-depth knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, and other relevant safety and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience addressing equipment failures and improving machinery performance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to stand firm on operational issues while remaining respectful and collaborative.
Ability to lead during the startup phase, manage new equipment, and steadily grow the plant's productivity and efficiency.
A strong track record of building and managing cross-functional teams.
