Position Overview
The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent provides high-level administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of the Superintendent's Office. This role involves managing schedules, preparing reports, facilitating meetings, and serving as a liaison between the Superintendent, district staff, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain the Superintendent's and Board of Trustees' schedules, including appointments and travel arrangements.
Prepare, proofread, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Serve as the central point of contact for inquiries, directing communications to appropriate personnel.
Manage Board Doc operations, including data entry and facilitation during Board meetings (attendance required).
Maintain confidential records and files while ensuring compliance with district policies and procedures.
Organize and gather materials for presentations, meetings, and projects.
Administer and oversee special assignments or recurring projects as required.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and explaining district policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in executive-level administrative support, preferably in an educational or public service environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Board Doc operations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, board members, and the public.
