We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support attorneys in the Washington office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.
The Executive Assistant will support the Executive Leadership team in areas such as completion of special projects and reports, calendar management and scheduling, preparation for and reporting on executive meetings, correspondence, filing, telephones, travel logistics and other special events and administrative assignments/duties as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provides administrative support to Executive Leadership.
Coordinates schedules (both personal and Firm related) and updates calendars accordingly.
Arranges all travel logistics, both Firm related, as well as travel associated with other activities and demands.
Conducts research, gathers data and disseminates information for and on behalf of Executive Leadership.
Acts as an internal resource for inquiries, responding both verbally and in writing, as appropriate.
Assists in the coordination and planning of Firm related projects and events.
Drafts, prepares, distributes and follows-up on various correspondence and reports.
Prepares expense reimbursement reports.
Serves as internal and external liaison among partnership, Business Professionals, clients and vendors.
Prepares presentations, and coordinates, oversees and performs general administrative duties such as:
Prepares agendas and minutes for and maintains records of various Firm meetings
Organizes and maintains documents and files
Distributes confidential information to partnership, Executive Committee, Global Executive and Global Board as needed.
Provides telephone support and responds to email inquiries as directed.
Assists with some personal errands and projects.
Participate in other activities at the discretion of the Executive Leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A four-year college degree preferred but not required.
Previous executive level work experience supporting senior level leader(s).
Strong administrative skills including calendar management, word processing, general office procedures, filing techniques, managing email, prioritizing/organizing work, and working with a wide spectrum of individuals.
Strong proofreading skills, organizational skills, writing skills, grammar proficiency, and attention to detail are essential.
Handle diverse tasks, be a team player and internal/external liaison between the individuals being supported and the partnership, departments, Business Professionals, clients and vendors.
Communicate accurately and professionally with internal and external clients and maintain total confidentiality in all matters.
Manage a heavy workload with ability to prioritize projects and daily work to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio and Outlook is required. Proficiency with InterAction is preferred.
This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week. The salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The salary range for this position is $68,400 - $144,000.
