Basic Function: The Senior Client Relationship Officer advises clients, opens commercial and consumer accounts and provides superior client service to the Bank's customers. The Senior Client Relationship Officer will work closely with the Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Team, Operations Team and the Lending Division to support client needs and may assume supervisory responsibilities as required. The ideal candidate must be a collaborator and adaptable and should have demonstrated success in decision making and multitasking.
Principal Responsibilities:
Open Commercial and Consumer accounts of high-net-worth clients.
Assist clients with routine account related inquiries.
Work with prospective and existing customers to assess potential overall banking needs.
Build and develop customer relationships to position Esquire Bank as the bank of choice.
Provide a customer-oriented approach to handling problems with banking services and accounts.
Participate in joint calls with business partners to develop customer relationships and support specific areas across business lines.
Maintain a working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered.
Detail oriented ability to confirm large dollar wires, checks and ACH with clients.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and greet customers.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations as well as with the Bank's policies and procedures.
Background and Experience:
5-10 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience in commercial and consumer account opening and relationship management.
Sales Force knowledge or equivalent experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing banking duties.
Proven ability in demonstrating critical thinking skills for processing and organizing facts, data and other information to define a problem and develop effective solutions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence.
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Maintains a current understanding of and complies with regulations that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Suspicious activity reporting, DD/Truth in Savings, and Expedited Funds Availability Act.

$85,000 - $125,000 / year
