SNI Companies has partnered with a Property and Casualty Insurance firm in the Dallas area that is looking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of commercial experience. In addition, this candidate must hold a valid Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Qualities and Responsibilities:
Able to work with 3 account managers and two producers and prioritize work.
Attention to detail.
Experience with commercial accounts ranging from a premium volume of $1,000 to $4,000,000, assisting the account manager with various support tasks.
Able to work with minimal supervision. A self-starter but able to work within a team environment.
Ability to work remotely with our hybrid work schedule. (This is not a skill that everyone has.)
AMS360 Experience a plus but not required.
Pull and process renewals and endorsements from various carriers.
Compare policies and endorsements against what was requested from the carrier and notify the account manager of any differences. Update the system to ensure the information in our system is correct and invoice agency bill items.
Assist the account manager with applications and proposals as needed.
Issue certificates of insurance for renewals and as requested by the insured
Follow up on requests to the carrier for outstanding items.
Back up the account manager if they are out with requests from the insureds.
