OCP North America is growing, and we have a unique opportunity for a part-time role working as a Sales and Customer Support Associate among our Sales and Logistics teams.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in data and information entry, reporting, and oversight with a high degree of customer focus and experience delivering exceptional customer service. We offer flexibility in this part-time role seeking an average of 20 hours a week. This role is a hybrid in our Wayzata, MN HQ.
Responsibilities
Sales Order Data Entry:
Enter and manage sales orders and related information into SAP, ensuring high accuracy and completeness.
Maintain proper categorization of products in each sales order field in order entry.
Inventory Management:
Enter and manage physical inventory transfers throughout each stage of the supply chain process in SAP.
Work with the logistics and sales teams, and external suppliers/vendors, to ensure accurate and updated inventory totals.
Data Validation & Integrity:
Review incoming data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, taking initiative and working across the team to resolve issues as they arise.
Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and inventory availability.
Ensure compliance in that all data entry activities comply with the company's data management policies and relevant industry standards.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all customer and business data.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales orders and ensure data consistency across systems. Update, track, and verify sales orders, ensuring timely and precise processing of customer requests.
Generate and update sales order reports from SAP as required by management.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels based on sales orders and flagging any discrepancies.
Collaboration & Customer Service:
Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Communicate with customers or sales representatives to clarify order details or resolve data-related issues when needed. Meet customer needs by interacting regarding orders, changes, concerns & documentation.
Establish & maintain high quality relationships with all customers.
Work with sales and logistics teams to resolve any customer issues, disputes, and problems.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in data management, information systems, or a related field is a plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in data entry, information management, or a related administrative/back-office customer support role.
Proficiency in SAP for data entry and sales order management is strongly preferred.
Skills & Capabilities:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Ability to handle large volumes of data while maintaining quality standards.
Ability to collaborate well in a team environment. Must be committed to group goals and objectives and continually seek to improve
Ability to multitask is crucial to being successful in this role. Must adapt and perform consistently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly & positive disposition.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with database management systems. Have the ability to learn web based and other computer applications as needed.
Flexibility in this part-time hourly role to work approximately 20 hours a week on average with fluctuation based on workload and seasonal demands in the agricultural sector.
