We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to oversee and facilitate all transportation-related operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to learn the rules and regulations of logistics.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare electronic and paper-based documentation for all shipments including Bills of Lading, Packing List, Tax Invoice, Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, and other records to comply with all domestic and international transportation regulations.
Provide rate information, tools and quoting to support order costing.
Assist with tracking emails, quotes and questions from account managers.
Manage reporting on all freight information for every shipment including cost, dimensions, weights, destinations, quotes, etc. on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.
Manage and schedule appointments with shippers and customers for deliveries and pick-ups.
Perform any other additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior administrative experience preferred.
Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Outlook and Excel - NetSuite is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail is a must.
Ability to learn the rules and regulations of domestic and international shipments.
