Role Description
The Inventory Manager is a full-time on-site role located in New York City. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing the inventory of EVERLEE's products, overseeing the process of receiving, storing, and tracking the items, leading inventory audits, analyzing inventory levels, and collaborating with different teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory control. The Inventory Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing jewelry inventory levels, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Inventory Management:
Manage and reconcile jewelry inventory counts, reporting discrepancies on a regular basis.
Maintain organized, safe, and accurate data entry within inventory software.
Shipping and Receiving:
Receive and record incoming and outgoing shipments from clients and manufacturers.
Handle customer inquiries related to shipment status and ensure timely resolution.
Evaluate shipments of finished jewelry for quality assurance
Order Processing:
Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
Conduct quality control of newly produced finished jewelry, adhering to company standards.
Process incoming purchase orders and memos from suppliers.
Handle customer inquiries regarding new orders, order status and provide updates as needed.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers regarding production requests and purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery.
Efficiently and accurately manage inventory data entry in the system.
Work on multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrate a keen eye for details and attentiveness to the production process from start to finish
Assist with production-related needs, including measuring, counting, and weighing stones.
Qualifications
Highly organized, proactive and able to prioritize effectively.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask without sacrificing attention to detail or quality of work.
Customer service skills with the ability to address customer inquiries and concerns regarding inventory
Experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain management
Familiarity with fine jewelry industry is a plus
Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
Fast learner and resourceful in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
