DINX is a new, family-owned sports social club on Chicago's North Shore, designed to foster a fun and inclusive environment.
Featuring six pickleball courts, three TrackMan golf simulators, and multiple social lounges, DINX Social Club offers a member-driven atmosphere that blends service, technology, and a comfortable laid-back vibe. Our team is dedicated to creating seamless, enjoyable experiences in our upscale social spaces, courts, and golfbays.
Role Ovrview:
The General Manager will play a significant role in committing to a budget and achieving results. They will also play a pivotal role in building, managing, and sustaining day-to-day operations, focusing on customer service excellence, staff management, and patnership coordination.
As a startup, this role requires someone with an all-hands-on-deck mentality, ready to wear multiple hats while building the club's long-term presence our community.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop Budgets to achieve finacial targets • Oversee daily operations across all areas, including sports facilities, selfpour alcohol
stations, and social spaces. • Manage vendor relationships for food, beverage, and event services to ensure seamless operations. • Ensure BASSET-certified staff follow alcohol service regulations and maintain responsible practices. • Coordinate with the Program Director to facilitate and maintain pickleball an golf
programming. • Develop and maintain strong community relationships to enhance membership and club engagement. • Monitor budgets, expenses, and payroll to achieve financial targets. • Provide leadership in hiring,
training, and developing a high-performing team. • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation. • Represent DINX as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. • Other duties as assigned/needed
Ideal Candidate Will HAVE: • Previous experience in hospitality, sport,
or recreational management. • Success in Budget Management • Experience working with Vendors
People Manager Experience
• Knowledge of pickleball programming, ratings (including DUPR), and the abiity to certify others is a plus. • BASSET certification and strong understanding of alcohol service safety. • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a passon for bulding a community-centered business. • This role requires flexibility to work as needed to fulfill business needs, including evenings, Holidays, and weekends.
