Active WA State Clinical License (Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist, etc.)
5+ years of experience in Clinical Informatics
2+ years experience as a Project Coordinator supporting large IT teams with multiple deadlines, priorities, and resources.
Expert with Epic EMR system
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical informatics projects to enhance the integration and optimization of Epic EMR and other clinical applications.
Organize and lead committee meetings, develop detailed project plans, and manage testing activities.
Ensure smooth implementation of EMR improvements.
Collaborate with clinical teams, informatics specialists, analysts, and quality improvement teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and standards.
Handle clinical decision support tasks, including the monitoring and assessment of Best Practice Alerts (BPAs) to ensure they fit seamlessly into clinical workflows.
