Overview & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Fullstack Software Engineer to join a dynamic team at a leading health insurance provider. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions, including batch programs, web maintenance enhancements, React upgrades, and product support. You will work on architecture improvements, provide recommendations, and deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: • Performing batch programming and web maintenance enhancements. • Managing React and Angular upgrades, along with routine maintenance. • Supporting product development and maintenance activities. • Providing architecture improvement recommendations. • Leading the development of high-performance, scalable web applications. • Working independently to deliver quality results.
Required Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10+ years of hands-on software development experience. • Proficiency in React (version 16+) and Angular (version 11+). • Strong Java development skills with version 11+ experience. • Expertise in Java-related technologies, including Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, and Hibernate. • Hands-on experience with Angular libraries such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Material UI, Angular Routes, jest/enzyme, and Bootstrap5. • Proven experience in developing web services using REST and SOAP APIs. • Proficiency in database technologies, including DB2 UDB and PostgreSQL. • Familiarity with Deployment, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery processes and tools.
Preferred Skills & Experience: • Experience with Angular 16. • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.
