The position holder will work with the NA/LAC IT Infrastructure Team to provide support to local users in Reno, the distribution center and remote users in NA/LAC to administer multiple Microsoft and 3rd party technology corporate services. At all times, the PC LAN administrator will ensure that all applications and systems are meeting SLA objectives, fully compliant, and respond to requests & incidents about the various platforms.
The position holder will report directly to the director of IT support. This position will operate under moderate supervision and be required to perform assigned tasks in a thorough, timely and efficient manner. This role may be responsible for assuming basic tasks related to server backup and maintenance (10-15%) under the direction of the network administrator in addition to the support responsibilities (85-90%). Support responsibilities include end user support, assisting with training initiatives for US region, setup and support for Team room systems, lead the complete lifecycle for user setup, termination, and ongoing maintenance for PC and peripherals. This position will not have direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
End user support for the Reno office, Reno distribution center, and remote sales staff
Provide technical support for the Reno distribution center, including troubleshooting and maintaining printers, handheld scanners, and other warehouse technology equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Manage Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Windows Intune, Office365 accounts, licenses, and groups.
Serve as backup administrator for the various access control systems or CCTV used at the local facilities
Coordinate and lead US IT training initiatives for the Reno location
Responsible for coordination and production of local and regional live events
Perform routine system administration and maintenance on local or remote locations.
Keep documentation current for supported systems.
Proactively analyze, troubleshoots and resolves infrastructure issues.
Perform system installations, upgrades, training, documentation, monitoring and analysis.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Comp TIA A+
Minimum of 2 years in Windows 11, Windows 10.
Minimum of 1 years in Office 365 & SharePoint Online
Minimum of 1 years in Active Directory
Solarwinds
System Center Configuration Manager
DFS, Print Servers, IIS, NLB, Clustering Services
Networking understanding of DNS, TCP/IP
ITIL tools & processes
Working against established SLAs and monitoring them
Knowledge and Skills
Basic telecommunications and networking knowledge.
