Our client is seeking a Data Engineer in Orlando, FL.
Role Description • Creates and maintains automated data processes. Creates SSIS packages. Creates ETL solutions to both export data and integrate data into systems. • Develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions - Writes advanced ETL processes. Creates SSIS packages. Maintains existing SSIS packages, troubleshoots and resolves job issues. Develops integrations to allow internal systems to communicate with other systems, internal and external. Leverages internal and external APIs to move data. Designs, develops, tests, tunes, and implements database objects and any supporting T-SQL scripts using Microsoft SQL Server. This includes but is not limited to stored procedures, views, functions, data manipulation scripts. • Write stored procedures, functions, queries, and other T-SQL scripts - Writes T-SQL queries and procedures to surface data, update data, and to facilitate automated data exports. Requires strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively. • Play a lead role in acquisition data conversions - Coordinates with other departments and stakeholders to design and write solutions to convert and integrate acquisition data into our systems. • Level III User Support - Monitors escalated help desk tickets to resolve data issues, or issues with applications and the databases that support them. • Project a Quality Image - Be committed to truth and integrity.
