Key Responsibilities: • Define and lead the implementation of comprehensive cloud architecture strategies on AWS, aligning with business goals. • Develop high-level designs for enterprise applications, integrating advanced AWS services like AI/ML, data analytics, and serverless technologies. • Establish architectural standards, frameworks, and governance models to ensure consistent and secure cloud deployments. • Lead the end-to-end design of complex cloud-native applications and infrastructure. • Oversee AWS environments, implementing robust security, monitoring, and automation frameworks. • Drive the adoption of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS), and serverless solutions (AWS Lambda, API Gateway). • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AWS best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends. • Mentor and guide technical teams to elevate their AWS expertise. • Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business priorities. • Define and implement security and compliance frameworks aligned with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor. • Ensure robust disaster recovery, high availability, and fault-tolerant architectures. • Evaluate and recommend new AWS services, tools, and methodologies to enhance business capabilities.
Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including 5+ years specifically in AWS. • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders including the team, managers, business units, and stakeholders. • Extensive expertise in AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda). • Proven experience designing large-scale, mission-critical systems on AWS. • Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK. • Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and network architectures (e.g., VPC, Direct Connect). • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js). • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline. • Expertise in advanced analytics, AI/ML solutions, and Big Data services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, EMR, Redshift). • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent advanced AWS certifications - Preferred • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud strategies - Preferred
