Network Technician in Help Desk Support is responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users regarding network issues and configurations. This entry-level position requires strong customer service skills and a basic understanding of networking concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user inquiries about network connectivity and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
Assist in the setup of user accounts and network access.
Document issues and resolutions in the help desk tracking system.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
