Our challenge

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Perl Developer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Python & Perl Programming.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Alpharetta, GA is $100k - $110/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications using PERL, focusing on file handling and database management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

You are:
  • Strong proficiency in PERL programming, especially in file handling and database operations.
  • Good experience of Python.
  • Experience with migrating code from PERL to Python.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

It would be great if you also had:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies.
