Brooksource is seeking an experienced Snowflake Technical Business Analyst to join our client's learning and education team! In this role, you will act as a technical guide, assisting team members in creating educational content that empowers the organization to effectively utilize Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Snowflake and have the expertise to guide others in coding, utilizing, and optimizing the platform. While hands-on coding is not required, a strong comfort level with Snowflake is essential to effectively demonstrate and teach its use to others.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Utilize Snowflake to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Perform data analysis and visualization to support business decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to implement and maintain data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and implement data governance best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Snowflake and related tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and Snowflake technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical background.
  • Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data engineering, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
