Our direct client is looking for a VOICE / AVAYA / TELECOM ENGINEER experience.
Responsible for design, Implementation, and support the Avaya telephony infrastructure including: Avaya CM server, SIP, Session Border controllers, IVR, Session Manager server, VoIP, CMS, and Voicemail server
Proactively analyze, troubleshoot and resolves telecommunications systems and circuit issues in a timely manner. This includes managing vendors and communicating status to management.
Responsible for Implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Avaya media servers, gateways and CMS in a dispersed voice network that includes multiple call centers, data centers and corporate offices
Provide application support and testing for system patching, hardening and hardware/software upgrades, system updates and break/fix remediation
Provide support to all departments in regards to their VDN, Vectors, and call flow for their main departmental line and call center
Participate in planning, design, implementation and management of projects that may include new locations, onboarding new customers, and deploying new technologies across the network
Help with Central Services Budget - This includes providing a detailed report of all phone numbers designated to each department and what cost center each number should be charged back for upper management
Resolving Trouble Tickets - This includes troubleshooting all county phone related issues (~5000 phones), phone registration issues, phone vectoring issues, trunk group issues, faulty phone equipment, phone MAC's, name changes, password resets, POTS line issues,
Administer VeraSmart Server - This includes running call detailed reports, adding new users, and performing maintenance
