Job Description:
Team: Data Protection, Cryptography Team
Project Overview:
Encryption certificates and keys, primarily for security and compliance work.
Responsibilities:
Support customer migration to new security certificates.
Help manage compliance for certificates.
Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and report progress.
Work with application teams to remediate certificates.
Track progress and escalate issues.
Daily stand-ups and agile practices.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Experience with encryption, certificates, and keys.
Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and certificate usage.
Basic understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
Nice to have:
AWS certification.
Knowledge of IAM (Identity Access Management) and security background.
Familiarity with Snowflake (big data platform) and SQL.
Experience with InTrust software for PKI management.
Desired Background:
Candidates with prior experience in certificate migrations (e.g., SHA-1 to SHA-2) or cryptography projects are preferred.
1-2 years of relevant experience in cryptography or IAM preferred.
Experience with tools like Snowflake or InTrust is valuable.
Team & Environment:
Collaboration with internal teams to troubleshoot certificate-related issues.
Agile methodology.
Additional Notes:
The project involves migrating from an old certificate authority (CA) to a new CA, with a focus on ensuring compliance and addressing certificate expirations.
Candidates should be comfortable using administrative tools for certificate management and be able to engage with teams to resolve issues.
