The Superintendent, in partnership with the Project Manager, is responsible for the overall success of the construction project, by effectively managing the jobsite including subcontractors, quality control, safety, communication, record keeping, daily reports, job schedule adherence as well as other duties that pertain to the successful completion of the project. This position occasionally requires travel.
Requirements/Responsibilities
* Ability to read blueprints and job specifications with accuracy.
* Ability to manage and communicate effectively and professionally with subcontractors, vendors
and owners.
* Capacity to handle pressure and time constraints while maintaining job schedule.
* Accurate recordkeeping of daily/weekly jobsite info including jobsite photos.
* Perform quality control functions to ensure all aspects of work are performed according
to the specifications, blueprints and contract documents.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office including email.
