We are seeking an experienced High Rise Scheduler to join our team in managing the schedule for a large-scale high-rise construction project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction scheduling and will work closely with the project management team to ensure the timely delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the overall project schedule for high-rise construction projects using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure that project timelines are met.
Monitor and track project progress, updating the schedule regularly to reflect any changes or delays.
Identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with the team to resolve them proactively.
Prepare and present regular schedule reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
Analyze critical paths, resource allocation, and dependencies to ensure the project remains on track.
Review and process subcontractor and vendor schedules to ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
Communicate any delays, risks, or issues that may impact the schedule to relevant parties.
Assist in coordinating project logistics, including deliveries, site access, and sequencing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in scheduling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with a focus on high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
