Job Title Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits administrator to be responsible for the administration of our employee benefit programs and payroll to coordinate the daily processing of benefits and payroll. To be successful as a benefits administrator, you should have strong organizational skills and stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and market trends. You should also have strong interpersonal skills, be able to maintain meticulous records, and collaborate with other departments and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify employees' hours worked.
  • Ensure all banking information for each employee is correctly entered into the system.
  • Update salary information accordingly.
  • Electronically submit payments so pays can be issued on time.
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and solve them on a timely manner.
  • Make sure all deductions are accurate and produce monthly reports.
  • Maintain and update employee records and benefits files.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments , terminations, and claims.
  • Advise and inform employees of the details of the company's benefit programs.
  • Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll for new hires and termination.
  • Ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.

Qualifications:
  • University Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Human Resources
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a payroll and benefits related position
  • Experience in ADP
  • A positive and proactive approach towards solving problems and meeting challenges
  • Must possess effective oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
  • Ability to deal with confidential information and interact with all levels of employees
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Be a team player.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Attention to detail.
