About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on and highly organized Onsite House Manager to oversee all household repairs, vendor coordination, and general property maintenance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of performing minor repairs independently while managing larger projects with contractors and vendors. This role is ideal for someone who is handy, resourceful, and dedicated to ensuring the residence operates seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all household repairs, maintenance, and operations.
  • Perform minor fixes and tasks around the house, such as plumbing, painting, electrical troubleshooting, and general handyman work.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling, supervising, and ensuring quality work from contractors and repair services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Supervise household staff (e.g., housekeepers, landscapers) to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
  • Maintain an organized system for household tools, supplies, and repair inventory.
  • Coordinate larger projects, renovations, and improvements with external contractors.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are consistently maintained throughout the property.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, tracking all expenses and payments.
  • Provide support for occasional household errands, logistics, or special projects.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a House Manager, Maintenance Manager, or similar role in a private household or estate.
  • Hands-on experience with minor home repairs, such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and household staff.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in property management, handyman services, or maintenance roles.
  • Experience working with luxury homes or estates.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, home automation, and general property upkeep.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using scheduling and inventory management tools.
