We are in search of a Risk & Analytics Lead to join us! The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Investment Solutions in the selection and development of financial products for client portfolios; including the review of instruments in portfolios, generating ideas for new products, and monitoring the performance of products in portfolios. Collaborates with the Quality Funds team, provide support to Financial Advisors (FAs) and Investment Counselors (IC), and perform ongoing monitoring of new products and competitor strategies.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Instrument Review and Due Diligence:
Assist in the review of potential DD of financial instruments from external accounts coming to GWA.
Perform due diligence of products to ensure their viability and alignment with portfolio objectives.
Generation of New Product Ideas:
Collaborate in the generation of ideas for inclusion of new financial products.
Research market trends and customer needs in order to propose innovations.
Product Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze the performance of selected products in the portfolios.
Prepare reports on product performance and suggest necessary adjustments.
Communication with the Quality Funds in Spain:
Maintain regular conversations with the Quality Funds team to resolve doubts and follow up on the selected products.
Review of New Products in the Market:
Conduct an ongoing review of new financial products available in the market.
Evaluate the relevance and potential of these products for inclusion in portfolios.
Competitive Analysis:
Review strategies and products offered by competitors.
Identify opportunities to adjust product strategy.
Meeting Follow-up:
Assist in the organization and follow up of meetings with managers.
Document and communicate key points and decisions made in meetings
REQUIREMENTS:
Five years of experience in Portfolio & Risk Management and Fund selection in Registered Investment Advisory or Broker Dealer
Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or similar; Masters degree preferred
