CJMW Architecture is seeking a Senior Architect with over 10 years of experience to support our growing firm focusing on project sectors in Senior Living, Hospitality, Multi-family Residential, Higher Education, Healthcare, Municipal, and Corporate.
The primary responsibility of this position is to build on the firm's existing portfolio in these sectors to develop the practice both in service offerings and in the geographical area. We are looking for a person with a combination of leadership skills, design ability, business development, and client relations, who brings a proven track record and passion for building upon a regional and national portfolio, managing design teams, maintaining project profitability, and mentoring and developing staff.

Professional Qualifications:
A degree in Architecture with active registration (NCARB preferred)
At least 10 years' experience as a registered Architect, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in one of the following sectors: Senior Living, Hospitality, Multi-family Residential, Cultural/Performing Arts, Higher Education or Corporate
Project Management Role:
Responsible for owner and consultant contracts. Monitors contracts throughout the design and construction of the project
Responsible for performance of project team by meeting project budgets, profitability and schedules
Project Responsibilities:
Skillset
Responsible for task assignments of design team members
Design review meetings of drawings at each design phase with project team members
Responsible for working closely with project managers to execute project plans
Responsible for directing team members on technical and design solutions
Project Scope/Budget
Responsible for reviewing contract requirements for project scope and budget with Principal in Charge
Responsible for maintaining compliance with contract requirements and notifying the owner for approval if there are potential changes
Project Schedule
Oversee development of fee breakdown for all disciplines and phases in conjunction with Principal in Charge
Oversee and develop Professional Project Management for projects
Track and report project performance and adjust necessary to maintain project profitability
Execute additional service contracts with owners and consultants working with Principal in Charge in identifying new request
Ability to participate in in marketing and business development activities
