We are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Systems IT Manager to join a dynamic team. This role will oversee all aspects of IT operations. As the Restaurant Systems IT Manager, you will also oversee the IT responsibilities to support the opening of new restaurants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, restaurant operations knowledge and a passion for driving operational efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor our IT staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning tailored for the unique challenges of restaurant tech.
Navigate the day-to-day IT operations, encompassing everything from infrastructure upkeep to support services with a keen eye on restaurant-specific needs.
Coordinate and execute IT projects and initiatives ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to service.
Team up with cross-functional departments and Franchisees to evaluate IT needs and craft tailored technology strategies fit for the fast-paced restaurant environment.
Oversee the meticulous setup, configuration, and testing of IT systems and equipment, guaranteeing they integrate seamlessly into the restaurant ecosystem.
Serve up timely technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our restaurant staff, franchisees, and corporate staff, resolving issues swiftly to keep operations going.
Enforce IT protocols, procedures, and best practices, safeguarding security, compliance, and data integrity.
Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring do not compromise on quality.
Provide ad hoc reporting.
Qualifications:
Seasoned in troubleshooting the tech tapestry of restaurant IT, with a particular mastery in industry-specific systems such as NCR Aloha POS, OLO Rails, Hotschedules, and 3rd party delivery vendors.
Brings at least 5 years of experience managing a restaurant IT team, managing operations and projects.
Familiar with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building bridges with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
