We are seeking a Program Manager to support our Customer Program Evaluations and Regulatory Research team. This role will primarily focus on conducting evaluations and providing research to enhance the effectiveness of customer programs, including energy efficiency, demand-side management, demand response, electrification (transportation and beneficial), and renewable energy offerings.
A key project will involve establishing a centralized research repository, including internal and external research efforts, such as third-party studies on customer product offerings. This library will serve as a comprehensive resource for various teams, streamlining access to past and ongoing research related to our portfolio of customer offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Evaluation & Regulatory Research: Evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of customer programs.
Research Library Development: Lead the creation of a user-friendly, centralized repository of research on customer products, collaborating with various internal teams and external vendors.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple business units and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on research projects and customer programs.
Meetings & Coordination: Attend regular internal and external meetings to discuss project progress and program updates.
Reporting & Documentation: Develop reports, summaries, and presentations based on findings from customer program evaluations and regulatory research.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (e.g., Engineering, Public Policy, Business, or a related field).
An MBA or a Master's in Public Policy is preferred but not required.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on customer programs such as energy efficiency, demand-side management, or clean transportation programs.
Experience with techno-economic analysis and an understanding of program evaluation in a utility setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of energy efficiency and utility customer program evaluations is an advantage.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, proactively manage relationships, and critically assess information.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Haves):
Experience working with utility customer programs or utility companies.
Familiarity with energy efficiency analysis and clean transportation programs.
Experience in a regulatory environment or with regulatory research.
Knowledge of SAP or similar utility-related software (not required but beneficial).
