The Talent Acquisition Partner manages the full cycle recruitment process for the organization and partners with hiring managers to source the best qualified candidates for our openings.
What You'll Do
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for various roles, from entry-level to senior positions, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates
Actively source, engage, and screen top talent using professional networks, networking, cold calling, and social media
Develop, negotiate, and close competitive offers in collaboration with hiring managers
Develop and implement recruiting strategies and processes that align with the company's goals and values. Conduct market research within the pulp & paper and packaging industries to guide recruitment strategies.
Work closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and provide strategic advice to meet competitive goals and expectations
Lead intake meetings and debriefs with hiring managers as recruiting subject matter expert.
Oversee college recruiting program and build relationships with trade schools, universities, community organizations, and local colleges to establish a strong talent pipeline
Properly document recruiting processes and stay updated on industry trends
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms to manage candidate data, generate reports, and analyze staffing metrics
Provide regular updates on recruiting activities, ensuring stakeholders are informed of hiring progress
Manage recruiting tools and systems, providing training as needed
Evaluate and participate in implementing new recruiting technologies and tools to improve talent acquisition processes
Create and manage job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
Ensuring that a company's hiring practices are inclusive and diverse and offer equal opportunities to all candidates
Increasing brand awareness by boosting the employer's presence on different social media channels and platforms that the target talent demographic interacts with
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Support other areas of HR as needed
Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in human resources or related field
Professional credentials preferred, such as HR Certification
3-5 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing and industrial environment
Strong working knowledge of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Proficiency with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
Experience with ATS systems (preferably Paycom), recruitment strategies, processes, and branding
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
Possess excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, TEAMS
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail

Pay Transparency: The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000. New-Indy provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position and assumes a rate based on location and experience.
