The primary focus is to deliver the P&L for the business (Manufacturing & Commercial) , leading to sustainable profitable annual growth. Having full P&L ownership of the business, the VPGM takes responsibility for developing and executing a clear and robust strategy to achieve the financial plans of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of the business in its entirety, including full accountability for the P&L
Develop a strategic growth plan to support the business, recommending investments and allocation of development and capital resources aimed at delivering year over year sustainable profitable growth
Developing and implementing a sales and channel strategy for the business including building and managing a strong Account Management and Market Development team
Managing excellent customer performance in both operational delivery and New Product Introduction commitments
Leading all operational activities including setting priorities, monitoring & continually improving performance
Owning and driving performance and profitability including cost positioning, pricing strategies, competitive analysis, lifecycle management and operations
Evaluating competition, customers, and opportunities as they relate to existing services and potential service development activities and developing a roadmap to support growth objectives and market positioning
Supporting the identification, evaluation of suitable partnership or acquisition targets.
Identifying and developing key partnerships in line with North America Strategy, to provide additional key technologies and/or channels
Qualifications:
Experience developing growth/strategic business plans
10-15 yrs Experience working in the Electronics manufacturing markets with preference in power systems, generators, etc.
Proven track record of leading projects and teams
Experience in acquiring and integrating acquisitions would be considered a plus
