We seek a skilled and experienced Controls Project Foreman to lead and manage the execution of building automation and controls projects in the Riverside, CA, market. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful installation, commissioning, and optimal performance of advanced control systems in commercial mechanical construction. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of control projects, including installation, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Work with and troubleshoot systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, Automated Logic (ALC), Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
Supervise and guide technicians and subcontractors, ensuring projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure precise communication and project alignment.
Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to leadership and clients.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building automation and controls with a stable and local work history.
Strong understanding of BAS platforms, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and energy management systems.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. EIT or PE certification is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio, and familiarity with BACnet and DDC control systems.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage teams and project stakeholders.
