We are working with our client Standard Care, LLC. in seeking an HR Generalist to be based in their Veazie, ME office with weekly travel to their Portland office required.
Requirements of the HR Generalist:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration.
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work onsite in the office and travel regularly between the Veazie and Portland offices.
Benefits of the Job:
Pay in the range of: $60,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:
Recruitment and Hiring: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. Post job advertisements and source candidates through various platforms. Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules. Assist in extending job offers and conducting reference checks.
Onboarding and Orientation: Plan and execute comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees. Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and benefits. Ensure smooth transitions for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns.
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions. Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve issues. Provide support during open enrollment periods and benefits updates.
Compliance and Recordkeeping: Ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Assist with audits and reporting as needed.
Employee Support: Act as a resource for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Support employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution and policy interpretation.
