The Financial Analyst analyzes financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations for decision-making. This role involves examining financial trends, preparing reports, creating financial models, and collaborating with teams to improve the company's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimate monthly IBNR/IBNP provider payables and reconcile liability accruals.
Prepare monthly financial reviews for each entity and line of business, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
Research and document significant variances from budgeted gross margins.
Conduct quarterly gross margin analysis by payor and support financial forecasting.
Organize data for quarterly reforecasting and budget development.
Assist with scenario analysis and provide support for new payor/service implementation.
Update budget and forecast data in the accounting system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
