The Senior Architect will act as a project leader, driving design efforts across multiple projects and overseeing work from conception through completion. This role involves managing design phases, guiding project meetings, and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a solutions-driven approach, and a keen eye for design excellence. Responsibilities also include identifying and communicating any deviations in project scope, coordinating client and project team meetings, and ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
Responsibilities of the Senior Architect: • Lead and manage the production of content, deliverables, and project documentation across design and construction phases. • Ensure all design work meets the company's quality standards and aligns with project objectives. • Coordinate and lead design and project meetings with clients and the project team, facilitating smooth communication and project continuity. • Participate in presenting finalized design products to clients and key stakeholders in collaboration with the regional and home-office teams. • Document and communicate any deviations in project scope, proactively managing client and stakeholder expectations. • Foster and maintain client relationships, actively participating in client engagement for new and ongoing projects. • Lead interviews and presentations for potential new projects, contributing to business development efforts. • Seek and recommend improvements to enhance project efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Minimum Requirements for the Senior Architect: • Registered Architect eligible to be licensed in North Carolina within 60 days of hire. • At least 7 years of architectural experience, with a demonstrated record of managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams. • Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office. • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. • Availability to travel for project work as needed, approximately 10%.
