An athletic footwear and apparel corporation seeks a professional focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market strategies, and product management. This role involves acting as an expert in developing Consumer Right Assortments for assigned categories and locations while ensuring product offerings align with upcoming trends. The position works across product engines to ensure product creation meets retail needs and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Briefs the product engine on the needs of the consumer for both the category/geography and upcoming trends.
Works across product engines to ensure that products are created with the retail end in mind.
Edits the product line for assigned location and category using both directed assortment and selecting the line outside of the global core product to meet revenue targets.
Builds directed assortments that support the category vision, working with geographies and retail needs in mind.
Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 0-1 years of directly relevant work experience.
Strong understanding of consumer insights and retail trends.
Ability to collaborate across product teams with a focus on meeting revenue goals.
