About the Role:
The Director of Counseling & Student Support will design, implement, and sustain a comprehensive K-12 guidance and counseling program. The role focuses on ensuring measurable, individualized emotional, educational, and career guidance for all students. The Director will also lead professional development for counselors and registrars, establish intervention systems for at-risk students, and deliver dropout prevention services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive guidance materials and programs for K-12 students.
Supervise and evaluate counseling staff, ensuring high standards of performance.
Plan and deliver professional development to enhance staff effectiveness.
Collaborate with district offices and community organizations to align counseling initiatives.
Analyze program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Support state-mandated testing and leverage data to guide strategic planning.
Design programs to assist at-risk students and reduce dropout rates.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to promote student success.
Ensure compliance with state and federal policies.
Entry Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree from an accredited institution.
