POSITION: Community Engagement Coordinator
LOCATION: Dream On 3, Rocky Mountain Community (RMC)
REPORTS TO: Senior Program Coordinator, RMC
SALARY: $60,000-$65,000
This role will serve as a key member on DO3 RMC's team to drive donor relations, implement individual giving programs, and manage the community's internal + external special events.
AS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR: • MANAGE RMC DONOR ENGAGEMENT [ Individual Gifts & Sustainable Giving] - Assist in the cultivation and development of individual donors and sustainable giving strategies. This includes moving donors through the entirety of the giving cycle (Identification, Qualification, Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship). Follow recommended best practices for recurring gifts, multi-year pledges, grants, major gifts, and Dream-Granter program. • LEAD RMC SPECIAL EVENTS [RMC Internal & External Event Management] - Serve as the RMC's special events lead for the annual Dream Fest and Golf Tournament. Manage vendors, organize logistics, and secure sponsors for any internal special event. Secure raffle and silent auction donations for events. Identify local corporations hosting external events and establish plans for how to partner with DO3. Serve as point of contact for any current external community event and manage retention. Identify and manage event volunteers. Work closely with the Senior Program Coordinator and Program Coordinator on event logistics, including the coordination of Dream Families at events. • CRAFT COMPELLING GIVING OPPORTUNITIES [Gift Strategy & Donor Engagement] -Generate donor interest necessary to sustain valued program offerings tied to DO3's core mission. Collaborate with Senior Program Coordinator to tell the stories of the individuals we serve to the community. Develop giving opportunities to match donor interest and motivation for grant funding and new programmatic offerings. Spearhead identification of new donors and design effective cultivation strategies across all giving levels. • EXPAND & SECURE RMC RESOURCES [Fund Development] - Help drive and deliver revenue to help secure DO3's annual mission. Partner cross-functionally with other DO3 communities to proactively engage donors and to identify gratitude opportunities to build an ongoing culture of philanthropy and stewardship. Brainstorm and ideate on the expansion of new donor strategies. • LEAD ADVISORY COUNCIL RELATIONS:
Act as the internal point of contact for the RMC Advisory Council Members and ensure organizational updates are shared as needed. Prospect, recruit, and onboard new members. Collaborate with the CEO and Sr Program Coordinator to lead monthly meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES: • Manage donor relations and special events in RMC to support the strategic vision of the organization. • Represent and speak on behalf of Dream On 3 at all internal and external events. • Follow organizational stewardship plan and implement across the community working closely with the Senior Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement Coordinator, Carolinas. • Manage all new donors and stewardship efforts within RMC. • Plan and execute all chapter special events including the annual Dream Fest, Golf Tournament and serve as point of contact for all RMC external events. • Work closely with the Senior Program Coordinator, RMC and Program Coordinator, RMC to enhance chapter and programmatic needs. • Occasionally assist Program team and attend programming events if scheduling allows. • Availability for evening and weekend work may be necessary.
