About the Early Childhood Department:

About the Role:
The Director of Early Childhood will lead initiatives to promote high-quality, engaging early childhood education programs across RRISD. This leader will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and district staff to implement evidence-based practices that support student success and align with district goals. As Director, you will be instrumental in creating a foundation for lifelong learning for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs aligned with district goals.
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster inclusive and engaging learning environments.
Oversee pre-kindergarten programs, Child Development Centers, and Teen Parenting initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines and manage program budgets effectively.
Support parent and community engagement to enhance student success.
Supervise and evaluate staff, ensuring the recruitment and retention of highly qualified personnel.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing needs and implementing strategies for program success.
Entry Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of four years of related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
