This position represents LGES - HONDA in sourcing activities, developing sourcing strategies, documenting the strategies, formulating policies, assisting in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), evaluating supplier performance, weekly to monthly reporting of group activity, interacting with all areas of the sourcing team.
Responsibilities: • Analyze existing sourcing processes and work to implement efficiencies. • Resolve day-to-day issues and promote operational consistency. • Interact with all stakeholders internally as well as externally for everyday sourcing operations. • Evaluate procurement metrics by measuring supplier performance and internal performance. • Identify projects scopes, schedules and costs collaborating with procurement buyers. • Evaluate sourcing landscape and work with buyers to strategize and document sourcing strategies. • Project industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures. • Report on competitive intelligence, as well as market and consumer trends. • Source suppliers /vendors from existing supplier base, while also seeking and qualifying potential new suppliers • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in general business, business administration, supply chain, logistics, or relevant experience • 0 to 3+ plus years of experience in related field
Knowledge/Skills: • Korean / English bilingual is required • Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Strong analytical skills • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills • Good time management and prioritization skills • Strong communication skills both verbal and written • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations
Additional Requirements: • This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic and/or international)
