Job Overview:

The Director of Operations will optimize, and scale operational processes to align with Crawford Consulting's innovative vision. This role involves driving efficiency improvements, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders. The Director of Operations will oversee all phases of administration, personnel management, finances, facilities, and business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Execution
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company vision and business goals.
• Clearly articulate the company's vision, ensuring alignment across all departments and teams.
• Inspire and motivate employees to work toward shared goals by fostering a sense of purpose and ownership.
• Implement initiatives to reinforce the company's mission and values in daily operations.
• Define and implement KPIs and streamlined processes to achieve strategic objectives and optimize operational efficiency.
• Manage budgets, analyze forecasts, and align financial goals with company growth targets.
• Partner with SAP and clients to meet SAP Certification requirements.
• Optimize technical support ticket workflows, adhere to client SLA's, and gather feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
• Enhance software development quality assurance processes, including compliance, testing tools, and audits.
• Identify and implement new technologies to automate operations.
• Regularly review third-party licenses and technology tools for fiscal efficiency.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce cybersecurity policies, conducting risk assessments to mitigate internal and external risks.

Project and Program Management
• Oversee key client projects from proposal to delivery, ensuring scope, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to RFP responses as needed.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and report project statuses.
• Build and maintain strong vendor and service provider partnerships with favorable terms.

Administration and HR Management
• Coordinate administrative tasks to support efficient office operations.
• Lead sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of talent, including IT consultants and staff augmentation resources.
• Promote transparent communication and provide regular updates on progress toward strategic objectives.
• Recognize and reward employee contributions to reinforce engagement and dedication.
• Develop compensation plans, performance benchmarks, and incentive-based structures.
• Maintain and communicate business policies, procedures, employee documentation, and training materials.
• Continuously review KPIs, automation opportunities, and staffing levels for optimal workflow and efficiency.

Marketing and Client Relations
• Oversee marketing communications, including website content, customer-facing documentation, and social media posts to align with brand standards.
• Identify business growth opportunities through marketing initiatives, such as conference participation, marketing campaigns, product packaging, and pricing strategies.

Experience Requirements:
• 10+ years in operations management.
• 5+ years in the software industry.
• Strong understanding of software DevOps processes.
• Expertise in technical support processes, KPIs/Metrics, and SLA management.

Skills:
• Proven excellence in project management and multitasking.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP systems is preferred.

Location:
• Austin, TX
• Hybrid: 2-3 days in-office per week
