This position will primarily be responsible for the productivity and management of all Service Departments throughout the company. This position is responsible for improving the efficiencies of the Service Departments through hands on training, metrics, and KPI's. This position is also responsible for overseeing new Service Technician training as well as assisting the individual Service Departments in the recruiting and hiring of new Service Techs. The Service Director will be a mentor to all Service Managers and responsible for overseeing their professional development as well as the mentoring and development of existing Service Technicians. A service manager is responsible for profit and employee retention. This position will be required to travel to all locations. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Training on Process and Procedure for the Service Department
Mentoring Service Managers
Anticipate service associate needs using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods.
Establish metrics and KPI's to help manage the various Service Departments throughout the company.
Safety/Compliance
Developing Training Material
Recruiting and Hiring of Service Technicians and Managers
Increasing Productivity and Billables
Provide Accountability
Inspecting and Working Field Based with Service Managers and Service Technicians
Other Duties as Assigned
Experience, Educational, and Ability Requirements:
