Construction Assistant Project Manager - DSA/Public Works Projects

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join a dynamic team, specializing in DSA and public works projects. This role will involve contributing to the successful delivery of a community college project. Key Responsibilities:
Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of the community college project, ensuring compliance with DSA and public works regulations.
Documentation Management: Oversee DSA submittals, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation to ensure timely approvals and clear communication with stakeholders.
Schedule Coordination: Monitor project schedules, track progress, and assist in developing strategies to address delays or challenges.
Budget Oversight: Collaborate on budget tracking, cost reporting, and managing change orders to maintain financial health.
Subcontractor Coordination: Support in hiring, onboarding, and managing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project quality and safety standards.
Process Development: Take initiative in creating and refining internal workflows, contributing to the team's goal of continuous improvement.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address project challenges, proposing innovative solutions that align with the team's entrepreneurial spirit.
Team Collaboration: Act as a key liaison among clients, architects, consultants, and the project team to foster seamless communication and strong relationships.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in construction project management or a related role, with specific expertise in DSA and public works projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with DSA processes, public works requirements, and prevailing wage regulations.
