Nationally recognized Boston firm specializing in plaintiff's medical malpractice seeks an aspiring attorney/night student to manage a client caseload at various stages of evaluation/pre-litigation.
Must be able to read and fully comprehend medical records.
This candidate must be able to understand medical concepts and articulate the causal connection between negligence and an injury.
The ideal candidate would be an evening law student with a bachelor's degree in pre-medicine, anatomy, biology or philosophy, and/or some form of a medical background (EMT/paramedic, for example) with great interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong analytical skills and computer skills (Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro).
This is a full-time, in-person position in our Boston office (9am-5pm). Please note that we will also consider candidates with law firm experience and the above-mentioned bachelor's degree(s)/medical background who are not currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate.
