Position Overview:
Logic is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team and support electric utilities undergrounding construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and managing detailed schedules using Primavera P6, with a focus on resource loading and critical path method (CPM) scheduling. The Senior Scheduler will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met and stakeholders are well-informed of schedule status and risks.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules for electric utilities undergrounding construction projects using Primavera P6. • Perform resource loading to ensure accurate allocation of labor, equipment, and materials across the project lifecycle. • Conduct critical path method (CPM) analysis to identify key activities, milestones, and potential risks. • Collaborate with project teams to gather schedule inputs, validate activity sequencing, and ensure alignment with project objectives. • Monitor and update project schedules regularly, providing detailed reports and analytics to project stakeholders. • Analyze schedule performance and variances, recommending corrective actions as necessary to mitigate delays and risks. • Integrate schedules with cost controls and project management systems to provide a holistic view of project progress. • Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and clients. • Provide support for project claims and change order management by preparing as-built schedules and delay analysis reports. • Ensure compliance with company and
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably in utility construction projects. • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced understanding of CPM scheduling. • Experience with resource loading and schedule integration with cost controls. • Knowledge of electric utilities undergrounding construction processes is highly desirable. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. • Certifications preferred: • Project Management Professional (PMP) • Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP)
