Key Responsibilities -
Build and maintain effective communication with team members.
Contribute to the development of specific work scopes.
Foster relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Apply knowledge of the Value Engineering/Value Management process, including its impact on various building components.
Participate in the Request for Proposal process.
Attend design meetings and assist with project coordination and scheduling.
Represent the organization in one-on-one sales interviews with trades and clients.
Lead estimating efforts for projects of all sizes and stages (e.g., Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development) and lump sum bids across core market sectors.
Qualifications -
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction estimating is preferred.
Proven ability to develop and implement value engineering solutions that reduce project costs without compromising quality.
Comprehensive understanding of trade scopes, timelines, field execution, and associated risks.
Strong knowledge of estimating processes and construction delivery methods.
