Overview

Responsibilities


  • Design complex full-stack cloud technology solutions in collaboration with application development teams, aligned with the vision established by technology and product leaders.

  • Take ownership of existing technology solutions, designing and recommending improvements to increase efficiency, resiliency, and reduce manual effort

  • Develop and lead the peer review process for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). IaC tools include Terraform, PowerShell, bash and Python.

  • Lead the implementation of additional tools and processes that maintain an automation-first approach to infrastructure and middleware management.

  • Collaborate with teams to understand their current infrastructure state and assist them in achieving the next step forward.

  • Help create roadmaps to sunset, replace, and decommission legacy implementations as new capabilities are introduced.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure operations in cloud; act as an escalation point for application development teams.

Qualifications


  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience; technical certification preferred

  • 1+ years of relevant experience, encompassing:


  • Utilizing system monitoring and automated self-healing.

  • In-depth knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Python, shell scripting, and other automation tools.

  • Full stack application development experience, including CI/CD pipeline development, automated builds, testing, and Infrastructure as Code

  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments

  • Applying Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in planning and organizing work

  • Monitoring platform/application using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch is preferred.


  • Occasional travel may be required

  • US Citizenship requirement for role
