Pay Range: $17/hr

JOB SUMMARY:

Greets and assists customers and provides operator/clerical support in a Receptionist position.

Assists Corporate Services department by providing back-up for all positions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greets and assists Advocus members, closers, and clients.
  • Answers Advocus operator phones and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Visit Post Office every morning picking up mail.
  • Sorts and distributes mail and delivery packages.
  • Processes Closing Protection and Prior Policy Requests.
  • Processes, packs, and ships title documents/envelopes to members.
  • Receives and distributes faxes.
  • Scans and saves documents to appropriate digital files.
  • Processes requests for prior policies to send to members, lenders, and staff.
  • Maintains reception work area.
  • Assists and backs up Corporate Services department staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • All mailroom duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work with a diverse and occasionally challenging customer and employee base.
  • Maintain professional grooming and demeanor.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a busy front office position.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word; Excel a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime as business demands require.
  • Assist clients that come in to pick up post closing checks.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma.
  • One year of customer service and receptionist experience.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Knowledge of title insurance terminology preferred
