Charleston Shoe Company is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth daily operations of the office and providing support to various departments. Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Assist with daily office operations, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents.
Office Management
Ensure office supplies are stocked and reorder as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and repairs.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of communal areas, including conference rooms and breakrooms.
Team Support
Provide administrative support to various departments as required, such as preparing reports or presentations.
Customer & Vendor Relations
Serve as a point of contact for clients and vendors visiting the office.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in administration is a plus.
Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
Experience in retail or fashion industries is a plus.
Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Basic bookkeeping or data entry experience.
