Our client, a humanitarian organization that works with regional, national, and local communities to support disaster relief and climate change. They are committed to working with communities and leveraging their talents and capabilities with an innovative mindset. They are seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to join their team. This person would provide support to the executive team and ensure efficiency of daily office operations.
Opportunity: 3-6 month contract (potential to convert permanent)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday flexible hours
Compensation: $30-$32/hour
Responsibilities:
Anticipate Executive team administrative needs based on knowledge of organizational priorities and objectives, schedules, and plans.
Proactively and independently manage and deconflict schedules and activities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to discern and manage information flow, providing the right information at the right time to the right people (e.g. senior executives).
Prepare executive and senior leadership agendas and materials for Chief of Staff review.
Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports on behalf of the executive team.
Coordinate all domestic and international executive travel through the Logistics Department. This includes securing accommodations, transportation, and meals.
Prepare introduction letters, memos, guidance, and similar documents.
Support team communications and plan organizational events, both internal and off-site.
Assist with coordination and communication of projects and strategic initiatives led by Chief of Staff and as needed, the broader executive team.
Execute special projects including presentations, spreadsheets, and reports.
Maintain professionalism, discretion, and strict confidentiality as applicable with all materials and matters.
Prompt and action the company's core values of accountability, humility, and integrity in all work we conduct.
Promote good stewardship of financial and other resources to achieve maximum benefit to those impacted by disaster or at risk of impact.
Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience as an executive assistant to a senior leadership position.
Experience supporting in-office and remote staff.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
Experience working and/or traveling domestically and internationally.
