We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Soft Services Manager to join a leading facilities management provider at a technology research facility in Fremont, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned facilities management professional to oversee a wide range of workplace and soft services across a large, state-of-the-art facility.
As the Soft Services Manager, you will take the lead in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, and maintaining high standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of workplace and janitorial staff while driving continuous improvements and managing key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Service Excellence: Lead the delivery of top-tier soft services across a large facility, ensuring all needs are met with precision and care.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of workplace and janitorial staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Financial Accountability: Oversee the financial performance of the contract, driving cost efficiency while delivering value-added services.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with the client, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
Performance Management: Ensure that all services meet or exceed the Service Level Agreements (SLAs), working closely with operational teams to monitor performance and implement improvements.
Safety & Compliance: Lead the management of health, safety, environmental, and quality risks, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for both employees and clients.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with teams to plan, implement, and monitor work schedules, reactive requests, and overall service standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive profit improvement through cost-saving initiatives and sales generation, while consistently seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
Management Experience (including vendor management): Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of success in facilities or soft services management.
Facilities Management Expertise: Strong background in facilities management, particularly in soft services and workplace operations.
Client-Centric Mindset: Ability to understand and anticipate client needs, utilizing feedback to continually enhance service delivery.
