The Zone Manager reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. The major responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Duties/Responsibilities: • Direct oversight of shift operations at assigned stations. • Compile productivity, performance, and inspections to ensure service level agreements are being met. • Reporting to ensure metrics are captured and reported for executive level consumption. • Perform continuous field inspections of deployed personnel. (INSPECT WHAT YOU EXPECT) • Keep the Quality Assurance Manager apprised of personnel performance by accurately communicating status of compliance and identifying any deficiencies in a timely manner. • Personnel Performance (coaching, counseling, and disciplinary). • Audit security officer end-of-shift reports, officer daily activity reports, scalable reports.
Required Skills/Abilities: • Can independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products that may be needed. (e.g. - MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint) • An understanding of security operations, in transit or public safety preferred. • Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to drive operations. • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills. • A great communicator that gets the value of teamwork. • Experience in general office setting in a supervisory role preferred. • Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment. • Technologically savvy - experienced with MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of technology driven scheduling platforms a plus. • Customer Service orientation required. • Able to interact in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with all levels of management. • Must be flexible and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a high-tempo environment. • Excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills required. • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive work attitude. • Ability to work in a matrixed environment. • A positive and upbeat team member!
Education and Experience: • Preferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, a bachelors' degree or 5 years' experience in an operations management and project management role. • WA Guard Card required
Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing on cement and trains. • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. • Additionally, the position requires near and far vision in reading correspondence and using the computer, and acute hearing when providing phone and counter service to the public. • Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, locations, and mandatory overtime. • Time flexibility depending on the needs of the company.

Uniform & Schedule Requirements: • Zone Manager will wear required uniform to include ballistic vest and duty belt. • Zone Manager will be on-call 24/7 for emergencies. • Schedule rotates each four (4) months between (days, evenings and overnights).
Deliverables:
1. Proactive & Continuous engagement with field operations to ensure all personnel are performing their assigned duties.
2. Submit Manager Inspections.
3. Coach - Mentor - Training Security Officers continuously.
4. Physically Inspect each Station in assigned zone.
5. Inventory Audit.
6. Represent IC and ST in a positive manner while performing your duties.
